Positive: "Extremely friendly people - whatever you ask for, they provide it. Impressive cleanliness, everything smells like soap, really want to emphasize that. Spotless linens, hot water, air conditioning, fridge - everything worked great. Despite the basic setup, the care and hospitality really stood out."
Negative: The property is at the top of a hill, and the road getting there is in very poor condition - drive carefully. It's basically an elderly couple's home where they've converted one room to rent out, so it feels more improvised than a proper guesthouse. The door to the room is actually a balcony door, which felt a bit odd. The hosts only speak Albanian, no English at all, so communication can be difficult. They also only accept cash, so make sure to bring enough with you. Overall, be prepared for a very basic, homemade setup - and don't underestimate how high up and remote it is."
