Gorgeous sea view of the Mediterranean Sea in l’Escalet on the Saint-Tropez peninsula (Ramatuelle). Big private heated swimming pool (11x4,5M) built in 2023! Aircondition in all bedrooms and living room installed in 2024. Walking distance (three minutes!) to the very popular L’Escalet beach with clear blue paradise water. The Pampelonne beach clubs are seven minutes away by car. Closest beach clubs are Cabane Bambou which serves both breakfast and dinner and the very popular party beach club Indie Beach. Le Club 55, Loulou, Bagatelle and Palmiers are all about ten minutes away by car. Very close to La Reserve and its two-star restaurant Voile (a short walk or five minutes car ride). One of the best grocery shops (SPAR Ramatuelle) on five minutes distance by car. The medieval city of Ramatuelle is ten minutes away by car. Saint-Tropez city center is about 10-15 minutes away by car via Route des Plages. There are free shuttles going every twenty minutes to both Ramatuelle and the Pampelonne beaches. Close to major wineyeards like Minuty (15 minutes by car) and the Golf Club de Saint-Tropez (15 minutes) and the Polo Club de Saint-Tropez (20 minutes).
Six beds in three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a new continental bed and seaview and aircondition installed 2024. Bedroom 2 has two 90 centimeters wide new continental beds and aircondition installed 2024. Bedroom 3 has two 90 centimeters wide new continental beds and airconditioning installed 2024. All beds are very comfortable, new (2022) beds (this is unusual for rentals in Saint-Tropez, the beds are usually old and of poor quality).
Two bathrooms, one in modern style, newly refurbished, one typical Provencal. Hair-dryer.
Combined living room and inside breakfast/dinner area with aircondition.
Washing-machine with iron and ironing board.
Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, electrical owen, water-boiler, juice squeezer, toaster, dishwasher.

Summary: We have visited France many times but have never been to Provence. We were attracted to the coastal Mediterranean location with more life and effervescence than the rural France we’d experienced before. We were not disappointed! The villa was superb. Quintessentially French feeling, the rooms were clean and airy. Air-conditioning in every bedroom was welcomed at night and made sleeping comfortable. Other than that, we didn’t use it as the sea breeze and infinity pool were more than adequate to chill us in the summer heat. The location, and the view which comes with it, is fabulous. We enjoyed dinner on the terrace every evening watching boats and ships cruise by. The local Spar, whilst pricey, stocks quality food which a holiday budget can quite quickly justify. The pre-marinated meat and fish tasted so good. Slightly further afield is a very reasonably priced and incredibly well stocked Auchen Hypermarche. Gorgeous villages to visit nearby include Ramtuelle, Gassin and Grimaud and of course, St Tropez. The villa is just the best place to start and end your day. Plage de L’Escalet (100m away from the villa) is quiet at 8am so would recommend swimming then and not when it gets busy (which it does). Or, walk 2.5km to Plage de Briande and take a swim there. The earlier the better. Thanks to the owners for being great to deal with and for letting out their superb property. We very much hope to return.
