Enjoy your stay at our cozy, sun filled cottage while you explore Downeast Maine. Take in the ocean views and salty air while enjoying your favorite beverage on the deck. This clean and recently built cottage is a short walk to the grocery store and downtown Lubec where you will find restaurants, a brewery and shops. Quoddy Head lighthouse is a 5 mile drive. Pickup fresh lobsters and steamers from the hardworking fishermen. There is a lobster pot, barbecue grill and fire pit to use during your stay plus folding camp chairs and beach towels for you to take to the beach or lake. There is wifi, a smart TV and a blu ray player with dvd’s. There are books if you want a break from technology. We provide complimentary coffee, tea and condiments as well as personal care items. This is a very rural part of Maine, ideal for people who love nature and maritime history versus strip malls and chain hotels. Our cottage is small but not cramped (perfect for a couple). NEW in 2023: comfy loveseat. Like the Maine homes where I grew up, it’s not fancy or modern so we have it priced accordingly. PLEASE contact us if you are not satisfied so we can make things right.
