Stay at Black Bear and enjoy the private, quiet side of Newry! This new home is located just off Sunday River Road, a quick 5.5mi drive to South Ridge Lodge or Sunday River Golf Club. It's minutes from two of the best swimming holes in the area, and 9mi to downtown Bethel. This stylish, modern chalet is well suited for families, friends, and anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Enjoy views of Sunday River from the covered deck or hot tub and relax to the sounds of the river below!
The cabin is situated on a 2.2 acre wooded lot, just off Sunday River Road. The property has a little stream running through the woods and boasts views of both Sunday River Ski Resort and Golf Course. Outside, the house has a long farmer's porch and a large covered deck with eating and seating areas. Downstairs are a large 8 person hot tub, BBQ grill, and a stone fire pit.
The main floor includes an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen; step into the hallway to two of the queen guest rooms and a full bath. Upstairs, a large king bedroom and bathroom are accompanied by a cozy loft with two twin beds and a reading nook. Downstairs, in the walk-out level, are the game room with pool table and 65" television, a third queen guest room, the kids' bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk bed and television, and a large full bath with a double vanity.
The house is perfect for families, and can accommodate three families comfortably, each with their own private areas and bathrooms! We do allow dogs on a case-by-case basis, and just ask that you let us know how many, size and breed before booking.
