Positive: We had a lovely stay at the Shepherd's Retreat. Communication was good prior to our arrival, with instructions. The house is really lovely, with everything you need and the hosts were responsive to queries. The lemon drizzle cake on arrival deserves a mention! It was very welcome with a cup of tea after a long journey. Plus other goodies left in the welcome pack. The local area and view from the house is beautiful and it's located very near to Hadrian's Wall, and is a very popular area for walkers.

Negative: We had to leave!!

Summary: Highly Recommended!
