Park View Farmhouse is a newly renovated 4-bedroom character property, finished to a very high standard and boasting style and comfort. The family and pet friendly holiday cottage located just a short drive from North Devon's golden coastline and Exmoor National Park comes with its own private hot tub, lockable storage and enclosed garden, it also enjoys far reaching countryside views and is close to many of North Devon's premier attractions.
Park View Farmhouse cleverly combines style and character - think wood floors and high ceilings beautifully blended with modern artwork and big windows letting in plenty of light. On arrival you will be welcome by original tessellated flooring that sets the scene for much of the farmhouse. To one side of the main hallway where you will find plenty of hooks for coats and space for boots there is the bright and airy living room complete with decorative fireplace, TV and comfy sofas. Opposite this is the gorgeous dining room that features a large table and enjoys direct access to the front patio where the hot tub can be found. A large archway leads through to the well-equipped kitchen packed full of appliances to keep every budding chef happy, such as a Sandyford Range, an electric cooker with hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. In the separate utility room, which has its own access from the garden (great for those with muddy dogs) there is a washing machine, additional storage and a large fridge/freezer. Also, on the ground floor is a useful cloakroom fitted with a WC and wash basin.
A wide staircase leads to the first floor where the four bedrooms are located, these include a double with en-suite shower room, a bunk room with full size bunk beds and two doubles with king size beds. All the double bedrooms have decorative fireplaces and their own wall-mounted TV. A family bathroom is also situated on the first floor and features a roll top bath, a walk-in shower, a WC and a wash-basin.
Accessed either via the dining room or front door is the main front patio, which is paved and includes not only a lovely hot tub ideal for those beautiful nights under the stars but also a hand made oak table perfect for alfresco dinners or summer evening BBQ's rustled up on the built-in BBQ. The rest of the garden is mainly laid to lawn and wonderfully level so great for garden games. The garden is fenced throughout and even has a gate to close it off from the driveway, which can easily accommodate up to four cars and has its own gate, this is also where you will find a lockable storage shed where bikes and water sports equipment can be stored safely.
Park View Farmhouse is ideally located for exploring North Devon with Woolacombe beach only a 15 minute drive away. Exmoor is also nearby as are a number of other notable towns and villages such as Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth and Instow. Many attractions are also easily accessed from the farmhouse with Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and Arlington Court being the nearest. Pubs, shops and restaurants can also be found within the local area, as can a number of well signposted footpaths and cycle routes.
