The first thing you will notice at Caleb's Outlook is the breathtaking views and scenery in every direction with a stillness you won't find anywhere. From the direct view of Grandfather Mountain to the refreshing breeze rippling through the lush trees,
Caleb's Outlook is a great place to get away from it all. Here you will have just total tranquility at its best. You are more likely to hear a bird call then a car going by. The houses in our neighborhood are spaced but also offer plenty of natural grown trees of various sizes to give you lots of privacy. We think you'll agree that our community- Misty Mountain- is picture perfect. You're in the mountains and the weather is cooler all year, but the road to the house is nice and level. You're likely to see snow in the winter, but our community does a great job of clearing the roads when the snow does fall, and you can park right in front of the house on the parking deck - no steep climb to the doorway!
Caleb's Outlook is very spacious and easily accommodates a family of four, but for a couple you may be happy to spend all of your time upstairs. The upstairs has one bedroom (with a queen bed), one full bath, kitchen, a spacious living room and your own deck.
At the bottom of the stairs (inside) you will find the washer and dryer. Downstairs has a large gameroom for the kids to enjoy, with a beautiful, king-sized mountain bed in the downstairs master bedroom. The second bedroom has an antique, full size bed. There is a full bathroom between the two bedrooms. There are several TVs throughout the house. One has satellite, some have the ability to stream and several have DVD players. In the game room there is a video game machine, and a Foos Ball table! Kids will love the Thomas the Train track with all the trimmings, and a large Medieval castle.
Upstairs and downstairs - both have a gas fireplace. Our location is perfect- you have the high altitude with the amazing view yet you only have a five minute drive to many attractions. Within 5-15 minutes you can drive to the BlueRidge Parkway, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Boone and so much more.
The newly renovated kitchen has most everything you will need including a food disposal.
All linens and towels are provided, as well as starter tissue and soap.

(1)give correct total in party and age of responsible party upfront
(2 The rental must be made by an adult aged 25 who MUST be part of your travel party.
(3) Remember: NO PETS ALLOWED. We love dogs and cats, but you'll have to keep them at home- thank you. We will have an outside camera this year to help us with pets.
(4) Indicate whether you are planning to have an overnight guest. Though we generally allow a maximum of 4, please ask if you are a family of 5, and we may be able to make it work.
Visiting guests may not bring pets into our home either.
