Positive: We visited as a family of 11, for a much longed for reunion. We loved everything! It’s large, it’s luxurious, it’s in beautiful surroundings. It’s totally fully equipped, there was nothing that we needed that was not provided. And, in addition to this, it has the most wonderful ‘vibe’. It’s a true family home, lived, laughed and loved in! It is so generous of the family to be prepared to share their magical home with guests. The lounge / bar / dining room / games room / kitchen were all outstanding, as were all the bedrooms, we loved the Aga, so warm and cosy, and the slow cooked casseroles were just a delight. There’s a fine pub, with good ales and excellent food, just a ten minute walk away and an award winning farm shop, a similar distance, with a nice cafe / restaurant, deli and butchers counter with excellent local delicacies, fresh vegetables and dairy and much much more! Outstanding house, amazing location, the perfect place for a big celebration! Delightful hosts, very helpful and informative, and responded to minor queries very promptly We’ll be back (if you’ll have us!)

Negative: Absolutely nothing! We managed the water pressure by good communication and ‘taking turns’ and never encountered a problem!
