Summary: We had an excellent stay in this beautifully appointed and immaculate new build in October 2023. Everyone was very comfortable in the 2 single rooms and 2 doubles. Firm but very comfortable beds were just right for us. We needed the heating in the evenings as the nights were getting colder, we found the heating system very efficient with always hot water available. The garden has ample space for a lovely small gathering around a supplied small bbq (we didn't use these). The village is well to do and the neighbourhood felt very safe. We didn't explore the villages of Barrow or Whalley as we were using this as a base to visit lots of friends and family (my wife is from nearby), however we know that these villages are lovely and quaint as are nearby Clitheroe, Ribchester etc. So many beautiful places to walk and visit and some interesting history around. You are just 45 mins from Trafford Centre/ outskirts of Manchester here so ideal for a longer stay including some time in the big smoke. All round the stay was made very easy by hands off Chris who was extremely efficient at getting back to us any time we had a query (usually in under an hour). We were very happy and comfortable and would recommend and come again sometime. Only recommendation for Chris would be some drawer space in the master. When staying for 5 nights we like to unpack our suitcases and preferably not on the wardrobe floor. There is tonnes of room in the wardrobe to fit some low level drawers inside!
