Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The house was ideal for our needs, which was a cheap yet comfortable stay whilst working nights, so would sleep though most of the day. House mostly clean upon arrival. Though it cost us, the property owners allowed us a late check out on short notice.
Negative: No Internet. Though the house came with a Sky box there was no Internet access, as there was no cable to go into the master phone socket, so all we had was a box with flashing lights with no access to the internet. When I messaged about this, they had the incorrect details on what WiFi was there, and when I explained the situation, their responses were very generic (ie check the password on the box...) The sofa bed was filthy in the cracks. When we opened the sofa bed out, there was a grim amount of dirt, crumbs, dust, and hair that had been living in the cracks. Clearly it wasn't cleaned, had to hoover it ourselves. Also there was no duvet cover or pillow case covers for the sofa bed. No shower curtain. When showering, there was no shower curtain, which meant the floor would get wet after we all got through showering, so had to mop it up ourselves.
Summary: 3 Star Experience for those working nights. Though wouldn't be ideal if staying in the day.
