You will be amazed at how this conveniently located property feels so quiet, peaceful and remote. You can enjoy it with your family, as a romantic hideaway or well earned retreat. It is only 20 minutes from San Francisco, 1 mile from downtown Mill Valley, 30 minutes to the Beach or Muir Woods. An excursion to the wine country is just 45 minutes away.
This cozy In-Law apartment offers 2 lovely guest rooms plus a tiny detached "cottage" with a twin bed. Wonderful views of Mount Tam surround the property. The rental includes access to a gorgeous private pool and Jacuzzi tub (late fall--late spring). Gorgeous granite island counter with beautiful acacia wood floors throughout.
The guest cottage is bright and sunny and shares the bathroom with the 2nd bedroom. It is perfect for a child or single guest as it has a twin sized bed.
This rental offers world class hiking and mountain biking right from the front porch. There are so many day trips and outside adventures available, but you will have a hard time leaving the tranquility of the enormous deck and pool. Many a day I have gazed at the fog far off in the distance horizon reminding me that my sun drenched home is a magical enclave of warm sunny skies.
In keeping with the gorgeous setting, the home itself is 'green'. The cleaning products are all natural with no artificial fragrances, the soaps are scented with all natural organic lavender essential oil and detergents are fragrance free. The pool is solar heated and cleaned with a silver mineral system instead of chlorine.
Please be aware that the apartment, decks and pool areas are not available for weddings, parties or noisy gatherings to protect my neighbors' right to enjoy the canyon's quiet, peaceful location.
