Home Layout:
The majority of the home is on one level. Enter through the front door to find an open concept dining and living room with a free standing fireplace (non-operational) and cathedral ceilings. If you take a right down the hall, you will find the gormet kitchen on your left full stocked with amenities you need to cook meals for your stay. Includes a Subzero 36" wide refrigerator and 36" wide freezer, Subzero drink refrigerator, Wolf 5 burner gas stovetop, Thermador double oven and Kitchenaid icemaker and custom cabinets from France. Coffee maker/Keurig combo, hot water electric kettle, rice maker, and other appliances. Even a fireplace to have some ambiance while you cook. Further down that hall to the right are two queen bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is an additional full bathroom with infared sauna. Across from that is access to the pool through the solarium. The pool has an indoor and outdoor feature. The outdoor is covered during most of the year and is available uncovered starting in late May. The pool is not currently heated, but being inside the solarium it can still be comfortable enough to use year round. The hot tub is available all year.An initial supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags) is provided for your use.
If you head left down from the main living area, you will find a den with sitting area and a smart tv. There is a half bath located in the hall and across from that is an office with a working space for up to four people. Further down the hall is access the master suite with king bed, sitting area, and master ensuite bathroom with free standing tub. Off of the master bedroom is a stand alone Japanese-style tatami room with a raised platform featuring 8 tatami mats. You can try out sleeping traditionally, or we have provided two queen futons and one twin futon to sleep up to 6 guests in this room. There is an ensuite bathroom located here as well. If you go around the building to the lower area, you will find the "Maid's Quarters," with a king bed, sitting area, wet bar and ensuite bathroom.
Outside, the deck expands the entire length of the home with amazing views of the valley. There is plenty of areas to sit and watch the sunrise or look at the lights at night. You can explore the majority of the 10 acres out back, where you will find a gentle slope as it heads down towards the woods and Paris Mountain State Park. There is enough space to host large events. There is a charcoal grill/smoker available on the deck for your use. On the north end of the home you will find a Greenhouse that can be used, but we store landscaping equipment in. In front of the home, you will find a relaxing waterfall and koi pond for a tranquil spot to read or meditate. Please do not feed the fish while you are here.
On the driveway outside of the garage is a basketball hoop that is available for your use. Also, there is a utility half bath located in the garage.
The majority of the home is available for guest use but there are some off limits areas to include all utility closets that house the majority of the electrical and plumbing for the home.

StayGVL offers daily rentals of children’s gear with no added delivery fees. Inquire with us about our offerings! Request those items when reserving the property, and we’ll ensure they are on-site when you arrive!
What about pets?
While this home is pet friendly, only dogs are allowed at this property (3 dogs max). Be advised there is a Nightly Pet Fee of $35/pet/night. For Airbnb guests, Airbnb only allows us to collect a flat rate. For this home, an initial pet fee has been assessed for one pet for an average of a two night stay. For guests that are bringing more than one pet and/or staying longer than two nights StayGVL reserves the right to collect the remaining pet fee through Airbnb Resolution Center. For stays longer than 14 days, we may charge a lower Nightly Pet Fee.
What are the Pet Rules?
We highly encourage owners to use a kennel to prevent any furniture or home damage when the pets are left unattended. We kindly ask that owners dispose of pet waste and not allow their pets on the furniture (couches, chairs, or beds), or we may have to charge to professionally clean each item. We place stained linens in each home for your use on messes, muddy paws, etc.
Violation of not coordinating for bringing a pet could result in immediate eviction without refund and a possible agreed $500.00 charge and additional cleaning fees to StayGVL. Guests must inform us of the type of animal they will be bringing ahead of time.
We do comply with requirements for service animals; however, please note that the ADA does not consider Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) the same as Service Animals, and therefore ESAs are not covered under the same rules. Any guest bringing an ESA will need to pay for the animal as the listing description requires.
What about early check-ins and late checkouts?
We understand you want to maximize your time in Greenville, so we offer early check-in and late checkout options. NOTE: There is a small fee for this service. Standard check-in is 4:00 PM; early check-in is 1:00 PM. Standard check-out is 10:00 AM; late checkout is noon. All requests must be made ahead of time.

Long-term stays are welcome! For stays over 14 days, we do require a refundable security deposit for your stay. Deposit information is below:
