Welcome to Sunset Hill, Ballard. We fell in love with this neighborhood because of the beautiful sunsets over the water and mountains, and are glad to share this with you! This is a quiet neighborhood near water with beautiful sunsets. 3 min walk to restaurants; 12 min walk to Shilshole Secret Beach; 6 min drive to Swedish Hospital Ballard. 45 min bus ride to Seattle downtown.
Your suite, with 1 bedroom and separate living room, has been thoughtfully designed for your comfort. The bedroom has an electric fireplace to stay toasty in winter, and a newly enlarged window to bring in plenty of light. There are 2 separate workspaces, in the bedroom and living room, so 2 people can take work meetings at the same time. The bedroom and living room are separated by French doors with blinds that can be rolled down for privacy.
The kitchenette is suitable for making coffee, reheating food, and light cooking with a single-burner induction hot plate. 2 people can sleep comfortably in the queen bed in the bedroom. There is also a couch (not sleeper couch) in the living room that can be made up with sheets. For the comfort of guests staying more than 2 weeks, we offer complimentary midway cleaning.
We live above the suite, so you may hear us walking above. You may occasionally see us in the shared laundry room or shared outdoor space. You may also hear our gardener when they mow the lawn. Please let us know if you need anything, but we will otherwise respect your privacy.

Your private suite has its own key. To enter your suite, you will descend an exterior stairwell and pass through a shared laundry room. You are welcome to enjoy the shared outdoor space, which has a deck with an outdoor dining set, lounge chairs, and a hammock.

**Getting around**
Street parking is available. The Burke-Gilman bike trail is right down the street. Bus 44 is a 13-min walk away, to go to the University of Washington or Light Rail stations. Bus 40, which also goes to Seattle downtown, is a 15-min walk away. If you are commuting to Seattle downtown, Bus 17 runs during weekday commuting hours and is only a 3-min walk away. The airport is 40 mins away by car.
