Positive: The peace and tranquility of the location was superb. Having pheasants running across the land at the front, a hare in the field when we arrived late at night and a glimpse of an owl round by the barn, as well as other songbirds and birds of prey at different times. The accommodation was very well furnished, beds, sofas etc. were all exceptionally comfy. The enormous main bed was brilliant. Thank you for putting a little Christmas tree up for us! The hairdryer was much appreciated!! As well as the milk frother and coffee beans. The binoculars proved useful throughout the week, and the information on areas to walk. The shower was huge, the water was nice and hot with good pressure and we were never cold. The WiFi worked well as did the TV. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and crockery too. When the hot water went off I made contact and it was resolved straight away. Overall we had a really lovely time, and would return (hopefully in the months when the swimming pool is in use next time!)
Negative: We appreciate that the site isn't complete yet, and we were visiting in the wettest months - the parking areas might need some consideration as to what surface will work best in such a rural location whilst providing a good, solid surface. Oh and as we arrived so late, we needed a sign earlier on pointing us in the right direction for parking (where the drive splits in 2).
