Summary: A beautiful old cottage in an amazing setting. It's rare to find a holiday cottage that still feels like a real house nowardays. This one reminded me of an estate cottage we used to live in in Fife. If you're looking for all the modern conveniences, in bland and white, you should probably look elsewhere; but if you don't mind putting up with a bath and only a basic shower for the sake of an open fire and a well equipped kitchen, a stream outside your door, and the woods just behind so you can start your days' walk without needing to drive somewhere else, book this place.
