Welcome to the Centennial House. Built in 1919, this home is full of history and character that you won’t find in a modern build. This nearly 2600 sqft home has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with one bedroom/bath located downstairs off the kitchen. In addition, we have 2 roll away beds and a playpen/crib.
The house has WiFi throughout, digital locks on all doors that will have a unique code to your stay, and plenty of parking. This is a smoke free home, please smoke or vape outside.
A fully fenced in yard, plenty of outdoor seating to include a large picnic table with outdoor lighting and optional sun umbrella, and a fire pit set up for your enjoyment. If you enjoy sitting on the porch then you’re in luck, this house has three. You can choose from traditional front porch sitting, enjoying your coffee in the enclosed side porch, or sitting on the back deck watching the deer graze in the evening on occasion. The deck is designed with a wheelchair accessible ramp and a staircase that leads up to the private balcony of the Master Bedroom. Along with an outdoor table and seating area, the deck has a duel combustible grill that allows for both gas and/or charcoal grilling.
If it’s too cold, head on inside. The kitchen has been upgraded to fulfill your cooking needs. All of the standard appliances are available to include dishwasher, gas stove, air fryer, microwave, oven, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, mixers, griddle, crock pot, ect. Cupboards are stocked with dishes for any occasion allowing for casual snacking or sitting at the spacious dining room table for a tradition dinner.
A unique feature about the dining room is the ability to close it off from the rest of the house. Two large Murphy doors are hidden in the walls off the entrance to the living room. Simply slide them out and enjoy your private setting.
Furry family members are more than welcome. The home comes equipped with pet bowls, toys, blankets, bedding, ect. If you forget something, don't worry we more than likely have you covered. All we ask is that you clean up after them.
This house does sit on 18 acres but it is usually being farmed or has horses, cows, or other livestock on it so please stay off the field during that time. Please also stay off the dirt road next to the field, it falls on the neighbors property. Like much of Colorado and especially in this area there is wildlife in the immediate area to include elk/deer, skunks, fox, owls, and even the potential for bears and mountain lions. Please be safe as you venture out and explore the local area.
