Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location is very good for exploring the surrounding area by car or just walking locally.

Negative: I had booked the property in a rush and didn’t realise the included breakfast was only a continental style. A full English was chargeable at £17:50 per person so my own fault but in all my 67 years it was a first in any British inn where breakfast was included. Also the local ale was not very well kept. Our room was in an attic space that would get uncomfortably hot in summer months and the balcony seating area was out of order.

Summary: A really enjoyable short break in the wonderful Cotswolds.
