Summary:
Relax at The Hideaway with the whole family (pets included!). Bolinas is a small seaside town that feels like you are a world away. The property is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 10-minute walk to downtown Bolinas. You may also take the beach cruisers available with your stay to enjoy breakfast on the shore or shop at the farmer's market. Enjoy a day trip to Mt. Talampais State Park or the Muir Woods National Monument.
The Space:
Park directly outside the guesthouse in the designated space and enter through a wooden gate into a furnished garden with views of the ocean.
Once inside you’ll find the open and airy kitchen that is equipped for all your needs. Enjoy coffee or tea while relaxing in the living room or out on the patio. The light-filled living room is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The sofa doubles as a queen size bed for extra guests and there is a pack-n-play with sheets in the bedroom closet.
Through the hallway is a single bedroom featuring a queen bed and a 43" Roku TV. Just outside of the bedroom is a bathroom with a corner shower. The bathroom is stocked with a hairdryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a first aid kit in the bedroom closet in case of emergencies.
Amenities of interest: board games, puzzles, books, beach blankets & towels, two beach cruisers, furnished patio, coffee, tea, wine, Bose bluetooth speaker, yoga mat, iron and ironing board, work desk, two luggage racks, foldable laundry hamper, two spacious closets, + more.
Note: Verizon cell service can be spotty in this area. WiFi is great, though!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the downstairs unit and the front patio area on the property which is enclosed for your privacy. There is a designated parking space for guests in the front of the unit marked by a sign.
Note: there are two tenants who live in the upstairs unit with two small/medium dogs. They are quiet, however, you may occasionally hear footsteps &/or see them walking their dogs. There are not any shared spaces & earplugs are provided for guests who may be sensitive to noise.
The Neighborhood:
Quiet, seaside neighborhood with lots of trees, shrubs, birds, etc. When visiting the beach, you may come across seals, sea lions, or even whales in the distance!
Getting Around:
There is dedicated parking at The Hideaway which can fit 2 small/medium cars or 1 large SUV/truck. Parking in downtown Bolinas can be tight, however, there are 2 beach cruisers available to use with your stay. The beach is a 5-minute walk and the downtown area is a 10-minute walk.
Other Things to Note:
Pets: 2 small dogs (30 lbs or less) or 1 large dog (80 lbs or less) are allowed. Bring your own pet bed or crate as dogs must be kept off of all furniture. There are pet dishes and a mat to help keep the water/food mess contained. There are microfiber towels for you to use to dry your furry friends off after a day at the beach. Dog waste bags are provided as well. Please clean up after your pet whether you are on the property or in town. **Do NOT leave your pet unattended on the property or in the unit. Any damage caused by pets will be billed directly to the guest.
Housekeeping: The cleaning fee covers a professional deep clean for each reservation. If there is an issue, please contact the host.
