Positive: The setting is what really makes this place tucked away in the jungle with incredible views, it feels peaceful and removed from the busy parts of Ubud. The service was a standout. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and made an effort to remember small details, which added a more personal touch to the stay. A special mention to Budi, Desak, Dede, Mira, Doni, Yudi, Gomboh and Novi, who all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a difference and didn’t go unnoticed. I hope I havent missed anyone! I really enjoyed our chats! The rooms were well presented and comfortable, with a nice balance of luxury and traditional style. Everything felt clean and well maintained. We stayed in Villa 4 and our private pool had a view of the waterfall! Amazing to wake up to each morning. The food is also fantastic, so if you don't feel like heading into town you wont be let down at the resort. They had traditional fire dancing and other shows on the nights we were there. Same goes with the Spa. Its just as nice as any in town. While the resort is a little removed from central Ubud, they run a regular shuttle service in and out of town, which makes getting around easy and takes away any hassle. Easily organised airport transfer through the resort.
Negative: Lots of stairs at the resort, which is to be expected as its built in the jungle on the side of a hill. Nothing unmanageable, just worth a note. The resort is beautiful so I didn't mind the journey each day.
