Do you enjoy tasting rooms, healthy and delicious food and music? This comfortable 1940's era loft is located next to Julian Station. The Station features Colt's Burger Bar (grass-fed burgers with no hormones or antibiotics), 3 unique tasting rooms (hard cider, wine & chocolate, beer) and 5 fun shops and a gorgeous scenic back patio. The Loft is private and peaceful but still conveniently located just above Julian Station for an exciting, fun and easy stay. Although we have live music during the day and several tasting rooms, The Loft is private. Our place is very family oriented and things usually wind down around 7 pm (which is later than most places in Julian!). The Craft Beer Tap & Tasting room is open until around 8 pm but you won't hear anything from The Loft. We are adjacent to Highway 78 and a peaceful rural dirt road named Orchard Lane which offers scenic strolls and amazing views. We are also in walking distance from many other attractions in the Wynola area of Julian including restaurants, gold panning, a petting zoo and pumpkin patch, hay rides, 2 pie shops and 2 antique malls. We have so much to do on site at Julian Station, including:

Summary: Immediately upon arrival we were a little uncomfortable. We were sent a message that the door would be unlocked and the key would be on the table/counter. We flew in from Florida and arrived near midnight. The door was not only unlocked but WIDE open. Unless you have the door locked constantly it will open by itself. It also isn’t mentioned that this is located in a “Dark Sky Community”. For someone who isn’t local or aware these things exist, it means when we arrived it was pitch black and there’s no street lights to guide you because the town works as a whole to keep light pollution down. We were told to park on a certain side of the Burger Bar, but there wasn’t any signage for the Burger Bar. We just parked and hoped for the best. I messaged through VRBO about it and never received a response the entire time we stayed. WIFI is public and we couldn’t get it to work. There’s much more furniture in the rooms than in the pictures making things feel cramped. My older parents commented the bed in the main room was too firm and opted to sleep on the couch and recliner. The fridge and cabinets were full of leftover products from previous stays. Handy if you forget something but off-putting because of germs and you don’t know how long it’s been there. The bathroom has no ventilation and it’s on well water so smells heavily of iron. Plenty of toys and books for kids in bunk bed room, but the dresser is full of linens. Location is beautiful, great for walks, but rental needs work.
