One evening, he even prepared a delicious Sri Lankan meal for me, making me feel like royalty.​ The Manor itself is a beautifully restored heritage property that exudes charm and elegance. Despite being conveniently located near the city center—just about 1.1 miles from Colombo Town Hall and 1.2 miles from Maradana Train Station—it feels like a peaceful retreat. The lush garden, complete with a pond and vibrant fish, offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle.​ My room was impeccably clean and adorned with antique furniture that added to the historic ambiance of the place. The amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a satellite flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and toaster, provided all the comforts of home.​ The Manor 1926 is truly a hidden gem in Colombo.
