Based in the historic district of Poughkeepsie we are a 5 minute drive from the Metro North/Amtrak Station and central to the Hudson Valley's best attractions. For college visitors we are a 5 minute drive from Marist & 7 mins from Vassar. A refusal to settle for less, our home stocks essentials including: Aesop, Grown Alchemist, Kiehls, Labratorio Olfattivo, and Frette linens. A portion of our proceeds is donated to enrich the local community/schools. Our personal holiday home, The Rosehill is named after our rose garden whose scent fills the garden air in summer heat. The driveway fits 2 cars comfortably. Street parking is available (free). TECH: WiFi: Fios 1G via EERO mesh network. COOK: Breville 870 Espresso Machine Nespresso Frother Aarke Carbonator (Soda). Vitamix Blender Cusinart Pots/Pans Knives: Global Chef Knives Set Grill: Weber Genesis E325 Liquid Propane (surcharge for usage/cleaning). ENTERTAIN: Dinner & Serveware: Crate & Barrel, CB2, Clove & Creek, RH, and Target. We offer a curated wine list sourced from Millbrook Vineyard which can be included during your stay for a nominal fee. Quickly burn off the calories with a mild hike down our street to the Historic Springside estate a 1 mile Nature Preserve trail. If you worked up an appetite again you cannot visit the area without trying: Rossi's sandwiches, rated the best sandwich shop in NY by Buzzfeed. DESTINATIONS BEYOND Consider day drinking at Tenmile Distillery--stunning views--or a cheap and cheerful alternative visit Tuttlehill distillery in Gristmill. Visit the Innis Free Garden considered one of the top 10 best gardens in the world. Or for the Antiques lover consider hunting antiques in Zabarski's Emporium in Kingston, the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck, or of course all of Hudson which happens to be very close to Art OMI another beloved gem for art lovers.
