Summary: We were utterly charmed and pleased with our stay at the Sacandaga Lake House, and loved every minute we were there. We skied at Lapland Nordic Ski Center every day, a 30 minute easy drive north up Rt. 30, and looked forward to our return to the house to enjoy the amazing hot tub and great fireplace. Super comfy beds, very comfortable open-design living area, well-equipped kitchen, the divine hot tub on the expansive deck, that also had great BBQ grills, which we also were delighted to be able to use. We were able to gaze at the constellations while soothing our sore muscles in the hot-tub, which was magical, even on very cold nights (well under freezing temps). The kids loved the loft room, where they could watch their own movies and shows, and the rest of the bedrooms were abundant and very comfy. We are already plotting our next visit! The hosts are extremely responsive and easy to work with - we couldn't recommend it higher. Even though we visited in February, it is clear that this is also a great place to go to in the summer, with it's own beach and deck overlooking the lake, and the docks and all of the fun things that accompany a lake house - this place has all that you could every want. Highly recommend! Lots of sleeping arrangements and well spaced out - plus the 2 full baths made for a great visit for our two families, that consisted of 9 people - there was still plenty more bed space available.
