Positive: Great location, comfy bed

Negative: Cleaning was superficial with obvious areas of quite unpleasant dirt (for example, edges of windows & shower screen) the room was long overdue decoration with chiped, cracked and flaking paint, there were no curtains but just wooden box-shutters that looked cold & prison-like and didn't shut the light out because of all the cracks between them (so the room could never be dark before sunset/after sunrtise, which means for most of the night in spring/summer), and total lack of soundproofing - old single-glazed sash windows on ground floor by main road, and could hear every footstep from the room above, every sound/word spoken in the communal hallway/stairs.
