Located in Manchester, the fastest-growing residential neighborhood in Richmond, this classy 3-bed/2.5-bath unit is within 1.5 miles of VCU, Downtown RVA, Belle Isle, and the James River Park system. Whether you are in town for business or looking to create memorable moments with friends and family, you will feel right at home!
The space
Overview of the Manchester Townhome
This lovely house features granite countertops in the kitchen, tile backsplash, maple cabinets, Kitchen Island with a breakfast bar, and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans and large closets. The huge windows have adjustable opaque cloth blinds, and you can choose to let natural light brighten the house or have a total blackout in the bedrooms for a restful night. Additionally, thick custom-made window inserts are available to use for added quietness during your trip to Dreamland. For added comfort, the house is equipped with two (2) thermostats, allowing easy setting of different temperatures in the common space (1st floor) vs. private rooms (upper levels). Furthermore, each main space also has adjustable switches for light and fan. Bright, dimed, or completely turned off? The choice is yours!
The Private Rooms
The Master Suite on the third floor offers a king-size cool gel memory foam bed and a 50” Fire smart TV with all the entertainment you need (Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and ESPN). Guests will enjoy an in-suite full bathroom with a stand-in shower and bidet-attached restroom for easy self-cleaning. A small private balcony rests just outside the suite and offers a breathtaking view of the neighborhood.
The first guest room has a Queen-size cool gel memory foam bed and a large balcony (furnished during spring and summer time), while the second, Marvel-inspired guest room features a full-size cool gel memory foam bed. Both are located on the second floor and share a full bathroom packed with the essentials for a great stay.
Family-Gathering Areas / Common Spaces
An open floor plan allows you to sit back and relax in the living room on a cozy sectional couch, watching your favorite shows on a 55” Fire Smart TV with an entertainment package (Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and ESPN). Books and fun games are available to entertain the whole family.
Enjoy coffee in the morning or tea to relax during the evening. Feeling like playing Chef and trying out Gordon Ramsey’s latest recipe for your family/friends? You will find all the cooking essentials you need in the large, fully open kitchen furnished specifically to assist you with all your culinary needs. Plus, enjoy your meal at the expendable dining table, easily sitting up to 6 people.
Might you wish to do your clothes and delicate during your stay, a large laundry room equipped with one of the latest model Samsung washer/dryer set is also available on the second floor. Designed with multiple cycle options to accommodate a wide range of textile-specific cleaning instructions, you can rest assured that your laundry will look and smell sparkling clean! A small pack of basic laundry supplies will be available if needed.
Guest access
Check-in time is anytime after 4:00 PM, and guests can self-check in upon arrival with their personalized code using the keyless entry door lock on the main entrance. Guest codes will be received within 24 hours of check-in time, along with other important instructions for a pleasant stay.
Whenever possible, our lovely co-host Angela will welcome you to the property during check-in to help you settle in and answer any questions you and your party may have. Please specify your time of arrival for adequate planning with Angela.
While the house does not have a designed parking space, there is ample on-street parking space in front of the house on a first-come, first-served basis.
The entire space is included in this rental; please, make yourself at home.
Note that the walk-in closet in the living room and one of the large closets in the master suite are locked for owner-only access.
Other things to note
The Manchester Townhome accommodates 6 Overnight Guests. Failure to comply with occupancy can and will lead up to eviction.
While we would love to accommodate fur babies, we have a strict pet-free policy (no matter the size, type, or breed) to ensure that our most sensitive guests can also enjoy the house.
Absolutely NO smoking of ANY substance is allowed inside or in the vicinity of the house.
The property is equipped with a Ring video camera located at the front entrance and a Ring video doorbell for added security, although the area is generally safe.
