Little Bear Cabin’s location simply can’t be beat! Just 20 minutes from Glacier Int'l Airport, 10 minutes to Whitefish Lake and only a 30 minute scenic drive to the entrance at West Glacier. World class hiking, mountain biking, water activities, fishing, hunting & more begin at our doorstep. Little Bear cabin is the perfect home base for all of your Winter and Summer adventures!
While conveniently located only minutes from downtown Whitefish, you feel like you’re a million miles away! Our guests rave about our unbeatable location. Relax and unwind at our comfortable and cozy cabin by the fire, or put on your snow gear and head up to The Lodge at Big Mountain!
Little Bear Cabin features 2 Queen bedrooms, a new pullout sofa bed, one bathroom with washer/dryer, functional living & dining spaces and a modern full sized, well-equipped kitchen. Explore the private 5 acres of forest, or just relax on the porch swing while listening to the creek and watching the deer munch wildflowers. Hang out at the cabin and enjoy satellite cable and high speed wifi, or take a quick drive over to Glacier Nat'l Park for some family recreation and memories that will last a lifetime.
We love our little cabin and really hope that you will too! Guests are welcome to use washer/dryer, BBQ, basic pantry staples (like coffee, sugar, oil, spices etc) and all available closets & dressers for your short or long stay. There are board games, toiletries, extra linens, fluffy towels and a modestly stocked pantry to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please, make yourself at home!

Visiting Glacier National Park:
As of May 28, 2021 visitors will need a ticketed reservation to enter the park’s 50-mile alpine thoroughfare from either end, both from the entrances at West Glacier and at St. Mary. The day-use ticket will become available through the online portal recreation.gov beginning April 29 2021. Visitors must purchase tickets in advance and in addition to their park passes, though visitors with proof of service reservations inside the park — for lodging, camping, boat rides, bus tours, guided hikes, or horseback rides — will be exempt from the added reservation requirement.
