Positive: Absolutely beautiful! Loved the layout, the space, the privacy, and the hot tub. A wonderful getaway for the four adults that went. The staff answered the phone quickly and were kind and understanding. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the house well stocked. Appreciated the two tvs on different levels and loved the pac man game system. Ample chairs on the outside deck to relax and appreciated the lights along the pathway. The book with maps and restaurants was nice too. We would absolutely book again and plan on it, and recommend the Chalets to anyone who wanted to go to Hocking Hills. Very impressed!
Negative: The ceiling fans were unable to be individually controlled. We couldn't leave them on while the lights were off and for adults who typically sleep with fans, that was a bit of a struggle. There was also no hand towels just full size bath towels and washcloths. There was also a used baby bottle with old milk in it behind one of the beds too. Again, not deal breakers by any means and we are more than thrilled with our weekend but they were just little things we noticed. Not that bugs are preventable at all but the ladybugs were in swarms and even with the cover on, we had to scoop 30-50 dead ladybugs out of the hotel tub every time we wanted to use it. Maybe just adding a small skimmer to the house to make that task a bit easier would be beneficial! Overall, absolutely thrilled with the house.
