Not your typical lake house! Long range mountain views, expansive decking for BBQ’s and relaxing, all with over 500 feet of lake frontage.
If you are hoping to find a boring lake house on a busy street with boats zooming by, this may not be the place you are looking for. Activities for all ages can be found both inside and out.
Treetop Lake House is situated on over 3 private acres. While no motorized boats are allowed, this provides peace to enjoy canoeing, swimming and fishing.
The whole property and house is yours to enjoy. There is a fireplace in the living room and side room off the master bedroom.
Inside you’ll find 3 traditional bedrooms, along with a fourth “camp” room setup for kids or those who are kids at heart.
A large living room to relax around the fireplace and enjoy a board game is right off the fully equipped kitchen. A dining room table that can seat up to 12 completes the main floor.
Upstairs you’ll find a second living room loft with 65” Smart TV, as well as a desk area.
Our guests love how the place brings everyone together. The open living area flows onto the large deck overlooking the lake and mountains.
Recently remodeled with new beds and fresh paint for carefree living. Whether you are here for a family get-away, mountain vacation, or in town for work, the house is set up for the best of all worlds!

Bedrooms: There are four bedrooms in total.
1. Master with king bed and side reading room with private fireplace.
2. King bed.
3. Queen bed upstairs.
4. Two bunk beds with full on bottom, twin on top. Two twin pullout couch beds can be setup upon request.
There is also a portable crib if needed.
Kitchen:
All brand new fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, toaster, filtered water, ice maker. Dining room table for up to 12. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, strainers, plates, bowls, glasses and pretty much anything you would need to make a full meal to enjoy!
Bathrooms:
Master bath on main— walk-in shower and soaking tub.
Guest bath on main— tub and shower.
Guest bath on second level— tub and shower
All fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, blow dryer and fresh towels and wash cloths.
Cleaning:
Brand new washer and dryer, fully stocked paper towels, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, iron and ironing board, vacuum, broom and general cleaning supplies.
Entertainment:
65” Smart TV in loft with Netflix, Hulu and Chromecast to play any of your personal media apps that are Chromecast enabled. 50” Smart TV in camp room. Multiple board and card games. Skeeball, air hockey and ping pong games.
Outside:
The backyards focus is the lake, fun, and relaxation! There is a table with seating to enjoy outdoor meals cooked on the large gas/charcoal grill. There is a hanging porch swing along with rocking chairs and a gas fire pit. A pedal boat and fishing rods are yours to enjoy.
Fires:
There is a gas fireplace in the living room and side room off the master bedroom.
There are three outdoor fire pits, one propane fire pit on the deck, one wood burning fire pit down by the lake and a third wood burning fire pit near the house, by the driveway.
Family:
For our guests traveling with children and infants, we have a pack and play, children’s books, toys, plates, dinnerware, cups and outlet covers.
Our guests have access to the entire property other than the lower level storage area and a few of the bedroom closets. The rest of the property, both inside and outside, is yours to enjoy.
Quiet hours are 9pm-9am. While it may feel like you are alone in the woods, there are neighbors nearby. Loud noise and music on the deck and by the lake is not tolerated.
We love animals and welcome all good boys and girls! No more than 2 woofers per stay with a combined weight of less than 100 pounds.
A $25 per animal per day fee will be added to your rate.

VERY IMPORTANT:
If you plan on using the house to have a party, sneak in extra guests, bring animals unannounced or other things that disregard the house rules, please read below:
No parties or events allowed without prior approval. You will immediately lose your security deposit, be charged an additional $500 and will need to leave if this happens.
Examples:
Booking a stay with 8 people and then inviting over 10 additional people for a BBQ.
Booking a stay with 6 people but using the house to host a family reunion, baby shower, graduation party, bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding shower, etc.
Our house rates are based on 6 guests and we can accommodate up to 12 for additional fees. Please be honest and accurate about how many guests are staying when you book. The 7th through 12th guests are $25 extra per guest per night. Undisclosed guests will be charged at a rate of $100 per night. Any guests over 12 guests will be charged $250 per night.
While we love animals we require a $25 per night pet fee for additional cleaning and wear and tear. Please let us know if you are bringing your pet at the time if booking. If undisclosed animals are brought there will be a $100 per night charge added to the stay.
Tesla charger installed. A vehicle is needed to get around. The roads in the community are gravel and have inclines and declines as we are in the mountains. While accessible by most vehicles (I’ve gone to the house in a convertible Mustang) it is suggested to have front wheel drive, AWD or 4x4 in the winter when there is the potential for snow. Please be courteous of neighbors and allow oncoming traffic to pass on the neighborhood roads when they narrow.
The home is located in a gated community about an hour south of Asheville, NC, and 30 minutes from Brevard. Our house is in a small private community with full time residents and families. Please be respectful of the noise and light levels on the deck at night so that it’s not traveling across the lake. We expect guests to treat the home and neighborhood like it is their own.
