Unique Alternative to Cabins. 1912 History with Today's Technology. 2nd Pet Free | House in Maggie Valley

3 Bedroom House in Maggie Valley
THE HOMESTEAD,1912 . . .
The classic glamour of her "birth" in 1912 has been safeguarded. . . . all while providing the modern comforts of 2022. Let our modest, century-old charm invite you to step back in time. . . .and step away from that "routine" mountain cabin experience.
HISTORIC. Authentic hardwood floors, shiplap accents, and rough cut cedar walls still reveal bygone days. Our wood was cut 110 years ago in the old lumber mill right in our own backyard. (See photos #38-40). You will still see the relic waterwheel base when you arrive.
With our claw foot bathtub, old-timey windows, antique door knobs and two-inch plank ceilings. . .you'll feel like your great grandmother just might walk in any moment. There's even a hundred-year-old creak in the front stairway.
MODERN. But you have all today's amenities! Chef's kitchen with six-burner gas stove, side-by-side fridge and dishwasher. Smart TV's. Convenient mini-split systems offer fresh air with a touch. Apple routers provide wi-fi in every room. White walk-in showers rival even the finest spa.
Every suite has a private balcony; Tin roof (for great sleeping when it rains); Large detached apartment suite (additional rate) for your seventh and eighth guests; Cozy solarium for conversation, cocktails, cards; Soft-flowing stream to lull you to sleep at night. We even offer a dedicated office space for extended work-cations.
CONVENIENT. You can walk to eight of our best restaurants within 15 minutes. Shopping, street events, crafts fairs, parks, greenways, nature trails, museums are all close. We are in "the valley" of Maggie Valley . . .offering inspiring upward views of The Smokies.
YARD. A huge octagonal deck next to the stream adds an extra treat for your outdoor dining pleasure. A natural canopy of trees serves as your shade, complete with a Grill, fire pit, and lights for nighttime dinners. Bring your bamboo fishing rod to drop into the stream while your steaks are grilling.
Our photos reflect our history. Floor plans included. (Photos #34-35). See VRBO listing #2382055 if you have more than six guests. . . .or if your teens want their own separate "Bunkhouse".
Certainly, you must read our photo #36 very closely.
We've thought of everything. You and your family will be in the best of hands.
