Summary: A spacious, bright and comfortable house perched high on the hills overlooking the Sullivan County mountains. We had a delightful time with the family at this house. The four bedrooms were all very comfortable and air-conditioned which ensured we had a restful night's sleep during the week we stayed. The house had plenty of table and comfortable couch seating. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to dine in a few nights, BBQ and enjoy the outdoor patios. The location was great - only a short walk/drive to town where there was everything you might need during your stay. Lovely farmers market in Jeffersonville on Saturdays along with a nice liquor/wine store, excellent bakery/coffee shop, bike shop, ice cream stand, etc. We explored the surrounding areas, visiting towns such as Callicoon Hills, Livingston Manor, Roscoe, etc. We chartered a fly fishing guide in Roscoe which was great, went on several hikes and bike rides, went horseback riding, tubing on the Delaware River, dined at some of the area restaurants which were all great (some upscale and others casual). Lots of breweries and distilleries to check out and numerous farmers' markets in the surrounding towns. We really enjoyed the house and the owners were communicative and available for any needs we had. Overall a great house in a great location if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the City. We look forward to a return visit next year.
