Positive: Friendly staff, comfy pillows, good breakfast and central location.
Negative: The bed was king sized but the quilt wasn’t big enough to cover it. Bathroom fixtures were old and looked a bit unclean although I think it was mainly limescale. Toilet didn’t always flush effectively. Kettle was provided but no tea or coffee and only tiny cups. My partner hit his head on the TV, which is wall-mounted in an ill-considered location just inside the door to the balcony. Lots of noise audible through the walls until late at night. Bedside light didn’t work, although it did make a noise when switched on. Furnishings were tired and shabby. A bit mystified by the high rating this place apparently has.
