Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alexandra. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout. The villa was stunning and exceeded our expectations. There are two kitchens, indoor and outdoor, both well equipped with plenty of fridges, traditional terracotta dishes, and all the usual crockery and utensils, plus a large BBQ area. Sleeping in the heat was easy thanks to AC in every bedroom and shutters to block out the heat and light. The beds were very comfortable. Outside, the gardens are huge, full of trees and birdsong, with views out over the valley. When we stayed in June, the gorgeous bright pink bougainvillea was blooming out the front of the villa. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and relaxing spaces with day beds and garden furniture. The pool is beautiful and very deep, ideal for perfecting your dives. It's easy to reach from the airport (around 30 minutes) and just a 5-minute drive to San Antonio. There are lots of lovely beaches nearby, including the stunning clear blue waters of Cala Saladeta and the coves of Cala Gracio and Gracioneta.
