Villa Sebelas is beautifully designed villa facing a breathtaking panoramic view of Jimbaran beach. There are 3 bedrooms with a total of 4 beds, 2 washrooms, a relaxing private pool and peaceful surroundings. The bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the bathrooms both have a shower, toilet, and a washbasin. There is a nice open sitting area with a TV, and a view towards the airport and the ocean. There is also a bungalow with a comfortable mattress, and numerous benches and chairs throughout the open area of the villa.
This unique villa is conveniently near lots of attractions! Including numerous beaches, that are one of the best of what Bali offers. The Uluwatu temple is also very near this villa, with a 15 min car ride to see the famous Kecak dance right when the sun sets. There is also “The Garuda Wisnu Kencana” Cultural park where you get to explore Bali traditions, stories, and experience the history. The park is only 5 minutes away from this location. There are also three magnificent golf courses nearby.

Summary: We stayed for over 2 weeks in this villa and were looking forward to a private and luxurious stay while being pampered by the villa staff. We enjoyed the location and proximity to the local village with several restaurants, laundry service and a grocery store. The pictures from the listing are accurate although there weren't so many operable lights during our stay so it is very dark in the evenings inside the kitchen, dining and living room areas. We found the beds to be quite comfortable with quality linens. The view is very picturesque. Be aware the green field in front of the villa is very active with lots of scooters driving by at all hours of the day. While the villa itself is quite promising, it is in need of better maintenance and upkeep. Numerous items were in a state of disrepair: one pool lounge chair could only lay flat due to a broken part, one of the ceiling fans in the living room was rusted and non-operable, locks on the front gate and select doors didn't always work properly, the AC unit in the master bedroom needed repair as when it runs a river of water pours out the front onto the floor. During regular rainstorms, water would pool in the 3rd bedroom coming in under the door and seep in from the edges of the closed windows in the 2nd bedroom. Water intrusion is a long-standing issue at the villa, given the extensive wall damage in every bedroom. Finally, we did see a large mouse or rat walking along the ceiling beams during our stay, and were told they had been trying to capture it without success for some time. There are 2 staff associated with the villa: Mr. Made who handles transportation and Mrs. Ketut who is the villa housekeeper. Mr. Made is a very kind man who really took great care of us during our stay, transporting us to various locales and waiting patiently until we were ready to return. Mrs. Ketut is responsible for cleaning and food preparation. The food was adequate yet inconsistent (pancakes cooked perfectly one day while burnt the next, egg whites under cooked one day while fine the next). While Mrs. Ketut cleaned everyday it was necessary to point out things she missed a few times such as cleaning the dead bugs out of the shower. The villa has enormous potential but it needs better care and attention from management to really make it worthwhile to stay here.
