*We take significant extra care to disinfect the entire home and make sure it’s sparkling clean! The home also features fragrance free laundry detergent.
*Keypad entry allows easy access
*Bedroom with queen bed, TV, small dresser and a closet. There is a window AC unit during warmer months. Linens are provided.
*Living room features a queen sofa sleeper, a chair and a smart TV with access to Hulu. WIFI throughout home. Wood stove is pretty though it is not functional.
*Full kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, wine glasses, utensils, coffee pot and more. Small kitchen table that can be pulled out to seat 4 people.
*Bathroom with tub/shower combo stocked with hair dryer, soap and shampoo. Linens are provided.
*There is parking for one car directly in front of the apartment door and outdoor seating area. Parking spot is on a slight incline. You must back out of the spot, down the driveway and make a turn back to exit the property. You may also park a 2nd car on the grass below driveway. The grass can be muddy if we receive a lot of rain. See photos for details.
*The home is situated between two other homes on a quiet street with 3 homes. There is 100+ acres of forest behind the home.
*There is a 2 story home above the apartment with 2.5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will not see the main home neighbors unless they are passing through the driveway on the way up to the house. There are no shared outdoor spaces. You will hear water running especially when toilets flush, footsteps from above or occasional noises from the neighbors. There is a locked closet in the living room. You may also rent the home above in a separate listing so multiple people can be together yet have privacy.
*No smoking, no parties. There is a security system on the apartment with a door sensor for your safety when it is unoccupied. There are no cameras or recording devices.
*Walk 1/3 of a mile to the waters of Lake Junaluska. Tucked within Lake Junaluska Retreat Center you'll find a swimming pool, mini golf, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, tennis courts, a golf course, fishing, walking trails, dining, Junaluska gift store and ample gardens.
*3.5 mile drive to Main Street in Waynesville where you'll find unique shops and dining. Also in the area enjoy hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway, microbreweries, restaurants, mountain biking, river adventures, our Historic Farmer's Market and Haywood Arts Regional Theater.
*30 mile drive to Asheville where you'll can visit Biltmore, a historic mansion and gardens, Pisgah National Forest, NC Arboretum, WNC Nature Center, shopping and much more.
*Other things to note: Lake Junaluska is beautiful! Definitely take advantage of all that they offer.
