This house is walkable to the new Fuel & Iron food hall, Ruby's, Gypsy Javas, a used book store and library, the shops along Union Street and the Riverwalk! It is located just off I-25 so only 40 minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. The Royal Gorge is a one hour drive and the Great Sand Dunes National Park is 2 hours away making this an ideal base location to explore southern Colorado!
This two story home has the historic charm you will love, but has been updated so you can enjoy modern amenities. Fast wi-fi, Nespresso machine, High Def smart tv, pillow top beds, ample parking and washer and dryer are all included!
LIVING AREAS
This home boasts an open floor plan so all guests can enjoy spending time together. Enter the home through a large foyer area. Next, you will find a large living room/dining room space. The living room has a large high definition smart tv and a comfy sofa and chairs for relaxing. There are games, books and magazines to enjoy. The dining space has a large farm-style dining table with seating for six. The first floor also has a half bath, the kitchen and wellness room.
KITCHEN
This modern kitchen has stone countertops, stainless steel appliances (including dish washer) and an oversized sink. It has an assortment of small appliances to allow you to cook a full meal or smaller bites, including crock pot, air fryer, blender, tea kettle and zoodle maker. There is a Nespresso machine and coffee maker; starter supply of coffee and tea are provided. It is fully stocked with pots and pan, cutlery, serving plates, and dishes/glasses for eight. Food storage and packaging supplies are provided along with dish soaps and dishwasher detergent.
BEDROOMS
All of the bedrooms are on the second floor. All beds have pillow top beds, a quilt, a duvet and four pillows.
The primary bedroom is a luxurious retreat. It has a pillow top king bed, window seat and en suite bathroom. There is a deck off the primary bathroom that overlooks the street below. There is also a tv and black out shades.
The second bedroom (pink bedspread in pictures) has a double bed, pillow top mattress and room darkening shades.
The third bedroom (blue headboard in pictures) has a queen bed, pillow top mattress and black out shades.
BATHROOMS
The primary bathroom has a large vanity and walk in shower. It is attached to the primary bedroom on the second floor.
The other full bathroom is on the second floor and has an original claw foot tub with shower.
A half bath is located on the first floor.
OTHER SPACES
A laundry space is located on the second floor. Detergent, dryer sheet and stain remover are provided.
An office/work from home space is located on the second floor and has a desk and office chair.
A wellness room is located at the back of the home on the first floor and has yoga mats, exercise bike, weights and a tv. The use of exercise equipment is at your own risk.
A storage closet on the second floor has extras that you might need during your stay including: swim towels, utility towels, ironing board and cleaning supplies. OUTDOOR SPACES
There are several outdoor spaces to enjoy! There is a fully fenced backyard with seasonal herb garden, outdoor table and chairs with seating for six and a separate seating area for relaxing. There is also a gas grill. There is a second story porch off the primary bedroom that is perfect for reading or relaxing. There is also a large front porch to enjoy.
There is ample on street parking and a parking pad in the back of the house for two cars with a gate in the fence for access to the backyard.
Feel safe with outdoor cameras and motion activated lights. There are no cameras inside the house.
Entry to the home is available via a touch screen/keyless entry system. You will receive the code prior to your arrival.
The garage and basement are owner storage areas and not considered part of the rental.
This is a quiet neighborhood setting. Please be respectful of the lovely neighbors-no parties and respect the quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.
I love dogs so well behaved ones are welcome but you will be financially responsible for any damage they cause.
