In the heart of Edna Valley lies Chêne Vineyards, a bio-dynamically farmed vineyard of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is a special place where volcanic ash meets the sandy Pacific soil. The property is a stones throw from many local wineries, making touring the area easy and accessible.
Chêne is just 15 minutes to downtown San Luis Obispo, 15 minutes to Pismo Beach and down the road from charming Arroyo Grande. The SLO Airport is conveniently located just 8 minutes away.
The large, 3500 square foot ranch style home rests just above the vineyard with sweeping views of the vines, hills and majestic sunsets. There are two bedrooms on either side of the home, making it ideal for two couples on a wine tasting weekend. The master has two large en-suite bathrooms, a Her bath and a His bath. The guest suite has an en-suite bathroom and there is an additional powder bath. For couples with small children or a group of friends, there is a pull out sofa in the office.
The back patio is an ideal place to have morning coffee, watching the fog lift off the vines. And it’s a beautiful spot to watch the sunset with a glass of wine in hand. Large cozy blankets are provided to cuddle up on the outdoor sofa, where you can read, relax and unwind.
The home is fully furnished with designer finishes and decorated with attention to detail. The master bedroom has a California King size Duxiana mattress. The guest suite has a Queen size McRoskey mattress. All linens are high quality, high thread count and 100% cotton. Spa grade bath amenities add to your comfort.

Covid-19 Update: We are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our guests. The home is being thoroughly cleaned and surfaces wiped with disinfectant. Summary: “Idyllic” is the word that comes to mind. The location of this beautiful property and home (I specifically chose the word “home” as opposed to “house”), is beautiful, pastoral, and relaxing. Alison and Brock have been very generous in sharing this gem, and all of the accoutrements that are a part of the experience from the couch sized patio swing that looks across to neighboring vineyards, Espresso machine, top of the line appliances, big comfy bed and bedding, along with beautiful landscaping and interior design. There are so many relaxing parts of the property to choose from. The location of the property is ten minutes away from Lake Lopez, where we kayaked, picnicked, hiked and biked. No more than fifteen minutes away are fun beach towns, and beaches, and San Luis Obispo airport is only eight minutes away for those who are flying in. We cannot say enough good things about the excellence of this property. We will definitely be back between seasons in our Colorado mountain town
