BOAT SHUTTLE:
Please note that this is a water-access only, remote property. The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs. We are NOT a hotel. Please respect that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process to make this project possible to exist.
We provide an approximate 15 minute boat shuttle to Cape Carraholly Retreat from the meeting point at Rocky Point in Port Moody, B.C. One boat shuttle, per cabin for both the check-in and check-out process, is included in the cost of your stay. The boat shuttle accommodates 8 guests at a time.
Team members on-site will transport guests & their luggage from the dock to the cabins in ATV 4-wheel drive, unless your cabin is right in front of the dock.

We are unauthorized to provide specific location details until a reservation has been booked. The booking confirmation message will also contain a FAQ page which may answer most of the questions you may have.

You do not need to communicate with us to arrange your boat shuttle. If our team needs to stagger the boat shuttles and alter your check-in time, they will contact you.

**********Every alternative check-in time has a $50 fee.
If the boat shuttle seats have already been filled for the 3 p.m. time slot, the next available time slot (3:45 p.m.) will become available at no extra cost, and so forth. You may also select the earlier time slots of 2:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at an additional cost of $50. If the 3 p.m. boat shuttle has not been filled and can accommodate your group, any later or earlier check-in shuttle requested will have an extra fee of $50. This is because boat shuttles are quite labor and fuel intensive and require compensation for extra shuttles we must provide to accommodate guests’ schedules. We are flexible to provide boat shuttles until 6 p.m. We only provide shuttles past 6 p.m. on an inquiry basis only; please inquire BEFORE you book a reservation. Please also note that we cannot
guarantee an earlier or later check-in; please inquire BEFORE your book a reservation.

If the boat shuttle seats have already been filled for the 10 a.m. time slot, the next available time slot (10:45 a.m.) will become available at no extra cost, and so forth. Unlike earlier check-ins, if the 10 a.m. time slot is full, the closest earlier shuttle will become available, at no extra cost (9:15 a.m.). If the 10 a.m. shuttle is not full and can accommodate your group, any earlier or later boat shuttle will have an extra fee of $50. We are often flexible to provide earlier check-outs as early as 7:00 a.m. with extra fees applicable. Please note that we cannot guarantee an earlier or later check-out; please inquire BEFORE your book a reservation.

Extra Boat Shuttles: $50
You may need to request an additional boat shuttle if:
● You have excessive luggage. Staff have the right to use their discretion to determine
whether the boat’s weight adheres to safety regulations.
● You request extra boat shuttles throughout your stay.
● Please note that the $50 fee for alternative check-in or check-out times is not added to additional boat shuttles that already have the fee of $50.
Late Fee: $25
● The late fee will apply if you are 10 + minutes late to the boat shuttle for the check-in

GUEST PARKING:
Free parking is available for guests’ vehicles within a parking garage at the Port Moody Legion Club 119.
Although we provide free parking for guests, guests are responsible for transporting themselves to the meeting point at Rocky Point, and covering any costs that may arise.
The walk from the Legion Club 119 to the meeting point at Rocky Point takes
approximately 10 minutes to complete. You may alternatively call an Uber or taxi.

GUEST CAPACITY:
Our cabins each have 3 bedrooms with 3 beds in total. Please review each cabin's listing for more information on bed sizes.
*Please note that the maximum guest capacity is set to 8 because we are open to guests bringing alternative sleeping arrangements, such as air mattresses, to accommodate extra guests. There is an *approximate* $15 fee per guest, per cabin, per night for every guest after 2 guests.

This cabin is for the fun-seeking partygoers! Equipped with a pool table and board games, you are guaranteed to enjoy endless hours of laughter and entertainment. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant colors, you will feel as though you have created your own chanted oasis of some serious fun!
This 3 bedroom cabin contains a primary suite with a King bed and 4-piece ensuite, a second bedroom with a Queen bed, and a third bedroom with a double pull-out sofa bed. The cabin also has a fully stocked kitchen and a beautiful open living/dining floor plan with large picture windows to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding ocean and forest. The patio doors ensure guests' easy access to fresh air and enjoyment of our outdoor amenities.
OUTDOORS
Enjoy two outdoor heated patios with plenty of space for seating, including a dining table for friends and family to gather together to enjoy a meal, as well as
several comfortable lounge chairs to sink into after a day of exploration. A cabin retreat would not be the same without using the BBQs to fill the air with the smoky and delicious flavor of your favorite grilled food! Finish your day off by cuddling around the fire-pit to share some stories and laughs on a chilly night.

The Property is located on a 75 acre ocean front property at 73WR+2PC, Port Moody, B.C. An extensive beach and inlet shoreline will satisfy your adventurous spirit. Discover over 26 km of hiking trails and 9 km of cycling trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will find beautiful hidden beaches, diverse flora and fauna, and trees older than 500 years. Step out the back door and enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing, crabbing, boating, and swimming off the dock. The communal beach shack provides seating and a gas fire pit for guests to use while savoring B.C.’s unrivaled sunsets.

This unit does not currently have wifi.
INFANTS:
Although we are open to hosting infants, we do not provide the supplies necessary for the accommodation of infants (cribs, dishes, child gates, etc.). The units are also not set-up to ensure the safety of young children and may contain hazards. The safety and wellbeing of infants is ultimately the responsibility of their parents/ caregivers.
WEATHER:
Please dress warmly and prepare yourself for unexpected weather conditions. We strongly advise that you bring rain gear since the pontoon shuttle boat provides limited rain protection.
REMOTE PROPERTY:
-You must understand that this a remote property in the wilderness and thus requires attention to the risks of exposure to the elements or wildlife.
SWIMMING:
All guests accessing the beaches may swim at their own risk. Guests' safety is their responsibility and up to their own discretion. The waterfront is part of the ocean and may therefore have under-tides and other hazards.
TVs:
If you wish to stream a movie or TV show, you must bring an HDMI cord and personal device to connect to the TVs at most of these cabins.
REPORTING ISSUE:
Guests are responsible for reporting any electrical issue, plumbing issue, or non-functioning item or appliance within the unit.
POTENTIAL FOR DISTURBANCE:
Potential for noise due to occasional nearby train activity.
Tides and waves as a result of commercial shipping lane activity.
