Xenia Outpost is an adobe style desert paradise enveloped by the largest state park in CA, Anza-Borrego and boasts thoughtful landscaping, peaceful pool/spa and panoramic desert mountain views. Xenia (pronounced Ks'enia) is the Greek word for hospitality. It's an ancient Greek concept mandating respect and generosity for any visitor, whether friend, guest or stranger, and that is what we're all about at Xenia Outpost. LIVING ROOM:
In the living room you will find oversized windows with spectacular views of the desert mountains, arched doorways, vaulted ceilings w/exposed beams and comfortable seating for all. There's a thermostatically controlled fireplace, brand new 50" HDR Smart TV, WiFi and board games.
KITCHEN:
Prepare a latte using our Nespresso machine or just fix a good old fashion cup of joe with our drip coffee maker. We also have a large assortment of tea. We have everything you need to need to prepare delicious meals for your whole party including extras you may not want to pack like spices and oil/vinegar.
BEDROOMS:
Master Suite (sleeps 2) - Cal King bed, a walk-in closet and a large bathroom w/a Jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower. 50" HD TV.
Bedroom #2 (sleeps 2)- Queen bed w/mirrored closet and desk for any work that needs attention during your holiday.
Bedroom #3 (sleeps 4/2)- Bunk Bed (double-bottom, twin-top), mirrored closet and twin air mattress. Can accommodate 4 children or 2 adults.
EXTRAS: 100% Cotton Linens, bath & pool towels, high-speed internet, hand/body soap, shampoo & conditioner, paper towels, facial tissue, hair dryer, washer & dryer, coffee and tea.
OUTDOOR SPACE:
Thoughtfully designed, this space is large and tranquil with multiple spaces built for total relaxation. There's a rooftop deck for unparalleled stargazing, a relaxing spa w/fountain and seating nearby, a salt water pool w/Baja shelf perfect for sunbathing, a shaded lounge area, covered patios with seating in the front & back of house (and optional hammock for napping in the balmy desert breeze), a wood burning fireplace w/lounge area for those enchanting desert evenings, a separate gas fire pit, outdoor dining covered by a large cantilever umbrella, a convenient outdoor shower, and a myriad of native desert plants which attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
GUEST ACCESS:
We are happy to share all spaces except for the garage which will remain locked at this time. We invite you to meander around our whole property and take a walking tour through newly planted citrus and olive trees on your way to meet our friendly steel resident burro "Burrego"!
SAFETY & SECURITY:
The pool is not locked or gated. We have pool door alarms on the two doors with direct access to the pool. To disarm, push the "disarm" button on the inside or outside of the door. You'll have 5 seconds to pash through and close the door or the alarm will sound. PLEASE NOTE: The alarm is LOUD to prevent child drownings.

Xenia Outpost is a luxury desert getaway located minutes from the almost 600,000-acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. With not a stoplight in sight and light pollution free, Borrego Springs is part of the International Dark Sky Association and is one of only two places in CA with that designation. We have a telescope for guest use or bring your own if you're an expert astronomer.
