Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location-wise it wasn't close to the train station, but it is close to the beach and the castle, and while the tourist information desk is back at the station, you can start the recommended sight-seeing loop at the castle with no issues. The food is fantastic. I just had the normal option with the fish and every part of it was great. There's also a coffee machine with pods available for use so I didn't even have any complaints about the coffee. I'm not sure of the make but the pods were aluminum so they will recycle. The futon was one of the more comfortable ones I've had.

Negative: I felt guilty about being treated so nicely. My one complaint was that there was too much food! I suppose being far from a combini is one thing but that's a minor problem.

Summary: Beautiful old ryokan with excellent food.
