Welcome to Topo-Loco, located 9 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and the same to Old Toccoa Farms, Golf Club! Here you will find a contemporary cabin tucked away with a peaceful treehouse vibe. The serene setting will make you feel like you’re miles away from everyone, yet, you're located only 10 minutes from everything. Nearby is the Lake Blue Ridge, hiking, tubing on the Toccoa River, wineries in Ellijay, orchards and delicious eateries. This modern cabin was designed with your comfort in mind and boasts 3 gas fireplaces, 4 outdoor spaces, a hot tub, and 2 living spaces.
The great outdoors--
Enjoy the outdoors with 3 living spaces on our oversized wrap-around porch or the lower patio from the hot tub. Our first outdoor living area features an outdoor fireplace with a sofa and two armchairs, set up to enjoy a "crackling" fire (remember, it's gas!) and a 50 inch TV. Just imagine cheering on your favorite teams or a family movie night with the fireplace running and soothing mountain sounds in the background.
Adjacent to this, and with a clear view of the TV, the second seating area is a fantastic place to enjoy meals together at a large eight-seat outdoor dining set. Finally, on the long, adjoining deck facing the woodlands, there are four Adirondack chairs, each with its own built-in drink holder, of course, Grab your morning coffee, sit back, and decompress, enjoying the serenity.
Newly added is our large firepit! Easily accessible from the main level the custom built fire pit with Adirondack seating is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the great outdoors.
Upper Living Level--
The open kitchen and upstairs living room floor plan has a plethora of windows and vaulted ceilings, so you can enjoy the great outdoors from the fabulous indoors! In the kitchen, you will find beautiful quartzite counters, a large deep sink, and an oversized (yes, we like things oversized) multipurpose island. The island seats 6, serves as a dining room table, and has a clear view of the living room television. It is the perfect place for enjoying a home-cooked meal (or takeout, if that’s more your speed), snack time for the kiddos, or a round of ranch waters and card games! Boasting all new stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is stocked with all essential needs such as silverware, a knife set, a pizza cutter, measuring utensils, baking sheets, pots & pans, dinnerware, coffee, mugs, wine & low ball glasses, a full bar kit, a Ninja AIR FRYER (perfect for re-heating your leftovers and quick meals for the kids), electric tea kettle, a coffee maker with full pot and single cup options, a dish drying mat, and dish rags. You can also keep hydrated with endless filtered water from the specialty tap at the sink.
Pan over to the living room, where you can sink into the extra-deep sofa and melt away your everyday worries with a cozy blanket and a book. The plush sofa seats 6-8 for amazing conversation time, plus there is an armchair as well as a bench for additional seating options. Flip the switch to the gas stone fireplace and put the game on the 55 inch smart TV.
On this same level, you’ll find two of the three bedrooms. Each bedroom is designed with calm, consistent, cozy neutrals with a small splash of a color. All bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, extra pillows and blankets, and their own closets for clutter-free storage of your luggage and personal items. These two bedrooms share a full, spacious bathroom with a modern touch. The shower curtain rod is curved, because who doesn’t love a little extra space when showering?!
Lower Living Level--
Take a walk downstairs where you’ll find the second full bathroom with a large standup, tiled, glassdoor shower. Both bathrooms are stocked with plush, luxury towels. Down the hall, find our second large indoor living space with the third of our gas fireplaces and, of course, a 50 inch TV, a super soft, real leather sofa and two La-Z-Boy reclining arm chairs. We have several games to encourage meaningful connections and some good (in real life) facetime!
Tucked away in this same room is another comfortable queen bed. There is also a brand new washer and dryer with quick and efficient washing and drying cycles.
Off of this living area, you will find the third bedroom which has two twin beds and is perfect for those who love to sleep in (or the kiddos who need to go to bed early).
From the downstairs living area, you can access the back porch where you will find the 4-5 person hot tub – don’t forget to bring out your towels and have them ready to go with our convenient towel hooks. The soothing jets are perfect for cold nights or to ease your muscles after a long day of hiking or simply to destress from your busy life. For those who just want to sit and chat outside downstairs, we also have a table with chairs.
Parking--
There is ample parking (5 cars+) in the driveway, easily accessible from the main level of the cabin. BIG BONUS: we also have a 50amp electric vehicle charger, perfect for recharging from your trek from the city.
Guest access--
The home is fully yours! Our home. We care about our casa so we would like to ask you to do the same.
Other things to note--
A couple of reminders about this cabin: Being in the mountains, all of the surface is hard rock which results in the house being run on a septic tank. That means there is not a kitchen disposal and only toilet paper can be flushed. Please enjoy your time in the mountains, but know there are some things that are just part of mountain life and out of our control.
