Positive: It was mostly well equipped and the furnishings were nice and very comfortable. It was also quite spacious for our group of six, and we liked the fireplace in the living room. We also like having a garage where we could park one of our cars since it snowed for a good part of the time we were there. Finally, it was a relatively short drive to Winter Park Resort, where we skied for two days we were there.
Negative: When we arrived, there was a lot of snow in the driveway as it had apparently been snowing for most of the day, but no one had shoveled the snow prior to our arrival. There was also no snow shovel at the property so we couldn't even shovel the driveway and sidewalk ourselves. Also, when we got inside, the heat was off so it was very cold. The thermostat was a little confusing to use, but we figured out how to turn on the heat. We then went out to dinner with the heat on, but when we got back the heat had gone off again. We eventually were able to get the heat to stay on constantly, but it took a long time for it to warm up in the house. It would have been better if the host had turned on the heat prior to our arrival. Finally, there were no hair dryers in either of the bathrooms which was inconvenient.
