BoHo mid century modern treehouse perched with a 180 view of the sunset on a wraparound porch surrounded by jungle bamboo and foliage. Walking distance from ACL Festival grounds, Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park, bars and restaurants galore. Nestled in a very private cul-de-sac in the middle of Austin’s highly sought after Barton Hills neighborhood and designed with a bohemian, tropical theme of carved wood, Persian rugs, kitchy antique furniture, and funky taxidermy, this is Austin in a nutshell. Two bedroom, two bath home with extra space to sleep if necessary; A master bedroom with a king bed and a 55” 4k tv with surround sound and a private bathroom. The guest room with a queen size canopy bed and its own hall bathroom set up in a mother-in-law plan at two separate ends of the house for privacy. The main entertaining area is one huge open room perfect for entertaining With a 65 inch 4K TV and Bluetooth stereo with floor speakers to listen to your favorite music, an Xbox one is also provided. Lounge on a sectional couch in the teakwood sunroom surrounded by windows that view into the bamboo jungle that surrounds the house. In a pinch, this sunroom can be closed and extra guest can sleep on the sectional sofa or on a queen size blowup mattress (by request). The wraparound porch is perfect for enjoying the sunset. Our house has been described as one of the best in Austin and we take pride in decorating and maintaining the old world mid century modern charm of this perfectly located house that has been home to multiple musicians and film celebrities during their time in Austin.
Please note that this is an old house that is well-kept. It does not offer the same amenities as a new house but instead the feel of a authentic Austin mid century modern eclectic household. Many of the amenities of a new house are not provided. If you require the feel of a new house, this might not be the rental for you as this is a mid century house in the middle of the jungle . The house is professionally cleaned before every stay with towels and linens washed.
