Positive: What is not to like about this incredible house?! It was the most beautiful, large home-away-from-home we could possibly want in Malta. The house has maintained all its stunning original Art Deco features and is lovingly decorated to the highest standards and taste. Like having a boutique hotel all to yourself, the house will immerse you in the feel of authentic Maltese neighbourhood architecture with every mod-con you could wish for. Every detail is accounted for and Susan our host (and her colleague who looks after the property and comes to freshen up the place each day with extras such as toilet rolls, dishwasher tabs and coffee etc) were incredibly attentive - even down to sending emails with tips of their local favourite places to visit and dine at. The neighbourhood is super calm and safe for families but with enough shops and local bustle to keep you amused and just 5 mins walk to the sea front to jump into the sea on hot days. It is also super easy to see all of Malta from here with the ferry to Valletta and then on to the 3 cities 10 mins walk away. We felt like we were living truly local lives in this beautiful place. Don’t hesitate - book it, you won’t regret it!
