Wilbur-by-the-Sea is prized for its getaway appeal it is located on a condo-free section of beach designated as a “turtle nesting area.” This means no motorized vehicles, no dogs, fewer tourists, privacy and peace of mind while relaxing on the beach with your family and friends.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you'll know you are in a special place as you experience the coziness of our 1920s oceanfront beach bungalow.
This home offers the ultimate experience for water lovers with its beach views and spectacular sunrise views. Daydream on the back patio while relaxing on the swing or patio furniture. Enjoy a beverage while listening to the sound of the waves and feel the ocean breeze against your skin.
Use our private access from the back porch to the lookout landing where you will be able to enjoy unobstructed ocean views and have direct beach access.
We have beach chairs, umbrellas, and children beach toys for use during your visit. Bring your beach bike for wonderful cruise on one of the largest beaches on the East Coast (Atlantic Ocean).
Relax in the Great Room with your favorite book, settle in for an afternoon of movies, games or time with family and friends. The Great Room features a large flat screen TV for access capability to Netflix, Hulu to watch all your favorite shows. Highspeed internet / Wi-Fi access is available to guests. There's also plenty of comfortable seating where you and your guests can spread out and relax or have captivating conversations.
You will find a large primary bedroom with several windows for an abundance of Florida sunshine. The primary bedroom has a California King bed. The second bedroom is outfitted with a Queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The Great Room also has a futon that converts to a Full bed.
The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare amazing dishes for everyone to enjoy! Choose to eat at the table in the kitchen nook or opt to enjoy meals during your vacation as you overlook the ocean! If you'd rather dine out, you're within walking distance from Boondocks Restaurant (waterfront and marina), 1 mile to North Turn Beach Bar and Grill or approx. 2.5 miles to Aunt Catfish Restuarant (waterfront). Close to Ponce Inlet for several other great waterfront restaurants.
Of course, you'll be drawn to take in the ocean air and beautiful scenery, but much more waits for you just minutes away from our beach bungalow in Wilbur-by-the-Sea. Only minutes from Ponce Inlet lighthouse and museum just to the South. Only a few miles to North to downtown Daytona Beach Main Street, boardwalk area, Bandshell, mini-golf, shops, restaurants and Daytona Lagoon water park. Daytona International Speedway is a short 7 miles away. Disney and Universal attractions are approximately 1 hour 15 minutes away.
