The main 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage is on the 2nd floor with its' entrance on the 2nd floor. Downstairs features a separate concrete suite/pool house space with a private one car garage & extra large carport. They have 2 separate entrances.
This family friendly canal front retreat is complete with WiFi, large smart TV's, high ceilings, a large kitchen, modern open floor plan and a large covered balcony. Island cottage vibes and resort style amenities are found throughout. This property features it's own private heated saltwater infinity pool and spa*, cabana, outdoor shower (hot/cold), outdoor dining (table seats 6), swing bed and dock with floating dock to better enjoy the saltwater canal. Florida landscape including the Florida state tree; the Sabal palm w/other palm varieties, sea oats, seagrapes, bamboo, birds of paradise & other tropical foliage. Here, you can often hear the ocean and have an afternoon sea breeze. There is plenty of space for parking; SUV’s, sprinter vans, boats, water vehicles, golf carts, 4x4’s are welcome.
The location is exceptional. It's .5 mile to the beach with multiple beach ramps and 2 pedestrian beach accesses within walking distance. With a 4x4, you can drive on the beach. Boaters Paradise with multiple boat ramps to access the ICW. Park up to 24' boat at the floating dock, or launch as needed for larger boats. Bicycle/pedestrian/golf cart sharing roadway. The Treasure Beach Neighborhood is a bird sanctuary, we have many different types of birds. Some even visit from the Alligator Farm. There are also brown island rabbits in our area. Our canal is home to many types of fish, crabs, shrimp, oysters, manatees and most recently a family of dolphins! Local fishing charters, boat rental, bike rentals, and golf cart rental referrals available. We have excellent food choices, shopping, parks and fun. Just a short drive north to Historic St Augustine, Vilano Beach, Ponte Vedra or south to Marineland. Jacksonville is about an hour north. Daytona Beach is about an hour south. The Orlando area is only a couple hours away. St. Augustine, Florida is a family friendly area and here you’ll find something to do for everyone. The home is equipped with outdoor smart light technology on a the 2nd floor perimeter of the house. Switches are both blocked and marked. One is locked. Please do not touch.
Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat so we can prepare the dock prior to arrival. A small dock fee for boat parking may be added per stay. Boating Notes: Be aware of the tides. Follow the channel markers. Be aware of No wake zones and manatee areas.
*The saltwater infinity pool/spa is heated by fuel. They share plumbing. The pool heater heats both the pool and spa. The spa heater heats the spa only. Turn heat off when not in use and overnight as to not waste heat and to avoid extra fuel fees. Cover with insulated cover to retain heat in cool times. In the cold winter mos, extra fuel fee to heat the pool if desired, just let us know!

We are sorry; but, NO LONG TERM RENTAL. NO SMOKING. NO VAPING. NO PETS. NO EVENTS INCLUDING "UNAPPROVED SOCIAL GATHERINGS". NO EXTRA GUESTS, UNAPPROVED GUESTS. We are happy to make arrangements prior to check in. Submitting reservation request confirms guest acknowledges contract and rules. Fines will be applicable and VRBO will be notified of any violations which may result in removal from the property.
HOT MOS A/C: The air conditioning should not be set below 74 Degrees Fahrenheit during the day during HOT mos. Due to the high temperatures in Florida, it can be difficult for the system to cool the internal temperature below this point during the daylight hours. Do not run AC with doors open during HOT mos. Setting the temperature below 74 on Degrees Fahrenheit during hot mos may result in the system freezing up. Especially if the doors are left open. If this occurs the air conditioning will have to be turned off to allow the unit to defrost. The guest will have no air conditioning during this time and will be responsible for the technician’s call-out charges. Please keep all windows and doors closed while AC in use. If it is off, you are welcome to have open. When cooling to desired evening temp, reduce in 3° increments. We have a Google Nest thermostat automatically set to help. Let us know of any special requests
The Cottage has been professionally designed. Please Do not move HEAVY furniture. NO indoor furniture outside.

We require a $1500.00 refundable damage deposit, a signed rental agreement, and State Issued Drivers License of the primary renter (county requirement). Additionally, you will be required to provide us with the complete names of all adults on the reservation, ages of children under 18, ensuring a total of no more than 8 people, including children. All to be completed within 24 hours of booking Name on reservation, Rental agreement, State Issued Driver’s License, and payment must all be the same*** (this will be provided when signing rental agreement, please don't provide before booking)
