Summary: A sorely needed stop in Ashern after a long trip from Churchill by train and road. Room was really run down. The host, who was very friendly and welcoming, said that the place opened 60 years ago. Not much has seemingly been done since, but the host took over 3 years ago and is planning a gradual renovation, he said. Sheets were clean, the coffee machine was fine, toilet worked and the shower was dirty but functioned 😅. I’d stay again.
