Adjoining State Forest means that our nearest neighbour is 4 kilometres away - feel your soul soar at the space and freedom. Our Platypus population is extraordinary and testament to the crystal clear waters - approximately one Platypus every 50 metres. Take the time to sit patiently and wait for the platypus to pop up. Koalas are rarer and more tricky to spot - but they are there so keep looking up! Plenty of goannas, wallabies, water dragons, Bass, turtles, frogs, parrots of all shapes and sizes, wedge tailed and sea eagles, so bring a camera and binoculars if you have them.
Admire the native species and get up close and personal with the free range happy herds of farm animals. Hand feed the alpacas, cuddle the cows, get to know the horses, scratch a sow, feed the ducks and chooks and fill up on their delicious eggs.
