Summary: We loved our 3 night stay here in Mellrichstadt. The house was incredibly clean, the shutters gave a good night sleep and the house was really warm and cosy. Beautiful views across the fields from the sun room. Well located for a walk (downhill) jnto town or walk out the front door and your immediately on a countryside track. We biked to a forest cafe, through poppy fields, to a medieval tower and all around. So its very peacefully located. The border crossing memorial and sculpture garden are worth driving to, and a walk around the town walls and dinner in the square is a must. We loved this beautiful Bavarian town.
