Positive: We have stayed at many inn's and air b&b's and the Buttonwood Inn ranks in the top 3 ever. A modest and unassuming exterior reveals a beautifully decorated and detailed interior of impeccable cleanliness. The inn's kitchen was noteworthy in it's organization and spotless appearance. Breakfast consisted of French toast with local maple syrup, bacon, yogurt, granola and varies fruits all prepared superbly. No one left hungry. The common areas were warm and cozy with lots of books and games (and treats) at hand. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests. The owners were super attentive and helpful in every way. A high bar for others to follow. We look forward to returning.
Negative: There is simply nothing significant enough to warrant a complaint. No place or person is perfect, but the Buttonwood Inn and staff make you feel that there might be an exception.
Summary: Attention to detail, spotlessly clean, great food and attentive and friendly owners.
