Positive: interior design with great taste by the artist owner. lush greenery. quiet and peace as the hotel is quite a bit of distance from the noisy main road, separated by greens. air-con. the owner is very friendly to help us navigate and arrange taxis. there is also a very cute Shiba dog who is very soft to touch, if you manage to earn his trust. it's within walking distance to the national park. you can use the washing machine for 25k per load.
Negative: electricity is unstable so the lights dim and brighten intermittently. could be scary at night when you shower. slow internet and our phones couldn't detect the wifi for a long stretch of our stay. I guess it's somewhat good to have an internet detoxification but might be quite inconvenient if you need internet to work. there's a restaurant right next door (another establishment) that has very fast wifi though. while the long separation from the main road is good for noise control, it presents a challenge to carry suitcases all the way and upstairs.
